Port Lorent
Port Lorent originates from the depths of Morocco's Atlas Mountains, shaped by the mountain's folds and the carving of time. In ancient times, scorching magma intruded into the earth's crust, gradually cooling and solidifying over time to form a deep black rock base. Meanwhile, in a high-pressure environment, mineral veins rich in iron sulfide and pyrite penetrated rock crevices like liquid gold, undergoing chemical reactions with the black substrate to finally intertwine into flowing golden veins. Due to its unique texture and scarcity, this rare natural stone became a symbol of power and wealth, widely used in the construction of palaces, churches, and top-tier mansions.
Casaferra's design team precisely captures this characteristic, using fine dry grain technology to restore the natural luster of iron sulfide and pyrite shimmering in micro-particles, creating multi-layered light and shadow refraction. Overlaying fine carving techniques endows the texture with a three-dimensional tactile sensation, allowing the ancient stone to rejuvenate in contemporary spaces and continue its gene of luxury and art.
