Medicea

Medicea draws inspiration from the Miles stone of Florence, Italy, in the Renaissance period, whose formation stems from the hundreds of millions of years of geological evolution of the Apennine Mountains. This natural stone is world-famous for being selected as the core material for constructing the iconic Renaissance building — Palazzo Medici. It not only became a symbol of the art and nobility of the Medici family but also evolved into a classic symbol of power and taste in the Renaissance.

The Medici stone features fossil-like vicissitudes textures, embodying the ancient historical precipitation of the Apennine Mountains. Casaferra enhances the sense of age and artistic tension of these textures through craftsmanship, continuing its luxurious and elegant style. The micro-molding technology is adopted to create millimeter-level concave-convex textures on the tile surface, restoring the roughness of fossils. The fine dry grain technology is used to replicate the delicate matte effect formed by countless tiny ancient riverbed particles under light refraction. Meanwhile, precision carving techniques are applied to carve uneven grooves in the glaze layer, strengthening the three-dimensional and dynamic sense of the textures, making the originally static stone patterns seem to have breathing vitality.
